Sunday afternoon the Philadelphia Eagles removed their next obstacle on the way to becoming the NFC’s number one seed. They did so in impressive fashion by defeating the Chicago Bears 31-3 . While the game was very one sided in favor of the Eagles, they made their share of mistakes. While Carson Wentz remained perfect in the blowout, the Eagles still committed two turnovers, but got lucky on a third fumble. One of them happened right after Malcom Jenkins intercepted a Mitchell Trubisky pass. The second one came when LeGarrette Blount fumbled the ball at the end of a long run. The third one came at the end of a long run again, but this time it was recovered by Nelson Agholor in the end zone. What was most impressive about this win, was the smothering defense, which held the Bears Running Back tandem to a total of six yards. The fun which the whole team had during the win was obvious to everyone watching the game, especially when seeing how all three units celebrated their accomplishments. The Eagles have to keep this flow going if they want to extend their win streak to eleven straight during a brutal west coast trip against the Seahawks and the Rams over the next two weeks.
