NHL News 12/4/17: Seattle passes $600M in renovations to KeyArena, Mouslon placed on waivers, NHL 3 stars of the week

This morning, the Seattle City Council voted in favor for a $600 million renovation of KeyArena by a vote of 7-1. Seattle Times’ Geoff Baker reported Sunday that there are hints the NHL could make a Seattle franchise announcement in the upcoming months.

Today, the last place Buffalo Sabres placed veteran Matt Mouslon on waivers in an attempt to designate him for assignment. Should he clear waivers, Moulson will be assigned to the Sabres AHL team, the Rochester Americans. Mouslon has 0 points in 14 games this year for Buffalo.

The NHL announced the 3 stars of the week ending December 3rd.

Third Star: Radek Faksa – Dallas Stars

Second Star: Carey Price – Montreal Canadiens

First Star: Blake Wheeler – Winnipeg Jets
